About Prokouk Productions
A mother–daughter partnership founded in 2010, brings together the talents of Ludmila and Linda. Ludmila is an artist, author, and filmmaker, while Linda is a lawyer, author, and book designer. Their shared mission is to preserve and promote the legacy of Ludmila’s father, the renowned filmmaker Karel Zeman, whose groundbreaking work in film and visual storytelling continues to inspire generations. Following in her father’s footsteps, Ludmila has developed her own body of work, creating films and award-winning children’s books.
Through their collaboration, Ludmila and Linda have developed a wide range of creative and business projects. These include the establishment of the Karel Zeman Museum in Prague, the documentary Film Adventurer Karel Zeman, the large monograph The Fabulous World of Karel Zeman, and the digitization and restoration of Zeman’s films.

Publishing Picture Books
Ludmila’s books are enduring works of children’s literature, distinguished by exceptional illustrations that bring history to life and narratives that foster an understanding of humanity. Their relevance today is greater than ever. We are seeking opportunities to republish these titles in multiple languages worldwide and welcome inquiries from interested partners. Film Restoration
In collaboration with the Karel Zeman Museum and UPP in Prague, we have successfully restored nearly all of Karel Zeman’s films to 4K quality. These restored works are now available for theatrical screenings worldwide, as well as for streaming and distribution on Blu-ray and DVD. For further information, please contact us.

Ludmila and Linda have delighted young audiences in schools and libraries around the world with engaging, visual presentations of Ludmila's books and films. Each session is tailored to the group and may include film screenings, PowerPoint presentations, storytelling, and fun explorations of history.
